New Hair Care Range: what's new?

Nouvelle Gamme Capillaire : qu’est-ce qui a changé ? - Endro Cosmetiques

Solid shampoo is not the easiest product to adopt. We, in the West, are rather attached to the liquid gel texture, very foamy, with powerful fragrances... But these liquid shampoos generate a lot of disposable plastic bottles. Moreover, they are largely composed of water and petrochemical ingredients such as silicones.

That's why we really wanted to offer you a solid hair care range. Being organic certified, we cannot allow ourselves to use the same ingredients as some competitors like SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate), a very common anionic surfactant, easy to incorporate into formulas, which produces an abundant and creamy lather. But its extraction method is very polluting for the environment, so it is not accepted in organic products.

Initially, we therefore turned to SCG (Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate), a very mild surfactant accepted in organic products that we use in all our foaming products (toothpastes, facial cleansing care, dermatological cleansing bars) to formulate our first two solid shampoos for dry hair and oily hair. But its drawback is that it doesn't lather "enough". This is the main feedback we've had since their launch... This lack of lather doesn't effectively remove excess sebum from the scalp and hair roots, causing a "greasy effect" in some people. Despite our advice and explanations to help you use our shampoos better, we understood that we had to re-examine the formula.

After numerous tests that lasted over a year, our R&D team opted for a new pair of surfactants: SCS (Sodium Coco Sulfate) and Decyl Glucoside, both of natural origin and accepted in organic products. The SCS transformation process is clean (hydrolysis / reduction...). It does not cause any negative impact on the environment and complies with the aquatic toxicity and biodegradability tests required by the Cosmos standard. These two foaming agents allow us to improve the sensoriality of our solid shampoos, developing a larger and creamier lather, easy to spread over the entire scalp and hair. We also removed overly rich ingredients, such as shea butter, to replace them with lighter vegetable oils. We also reworked the fragrances to make them more present and pleasant in the shower

Finally, to appeal to a wider range of people, we decided to expand the range by offering two new solid shampoos: for normal hair and curly hair!

The formulas are still 100% natural origin and contain no petrochemical-derived ingredients. These reformulations have allowed us to review our prices, so they are offered at the new price of €7.90 instead of €10.60 for the same volume as before (85 ml, about 40 uses). We can afford this because we are manufacturers: there is no intermediary between us and you.

Finally, we also reformulated our solid conditioner for two reasons:

  • improve its melting and its deposition on the lengths
  • improve its smell (the hair conditioner we had chosen did not smell very good and the perfume was not enough to mask it)

Now it melts much better and smells wonderfully good (monoi and coconut notes)!

All are suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as for children from 3 years old. Yuka scores vary depending on the perfumes (100% natural) because these naturally contain allergens that are poorly rated on the application.

You know everything about the changes made to our hair care range, if you already liked our solid shampoos, you're going to love them even more! Discover the new range.
